Portable Ultrasound

Unlike X-Rays, Ultrasound imaging uses a transducer or more commonly called a probe to generate sound waves to produce pictures of the body’s internal structures. As it does not use any radiations, it has no known harmful effects on the human body. It is a source of clear imaging of soft tissues which does not appear well on x-ray images. Mostly, infections, swelling, and unexplained pains are diagnosed through Ultrasound. Apart from other purposes, it is also the preferred method of imaging for the monitoring of unborn children in women’s womb.
